Pan Seared Bison Tenderloin with Herb Butter

Recipes

A ranch favorite, quick and easy delicious pan seared bison tenderloin recipe.  We work long days, and work up a big appetite, but usually don’t have a lot of time to spend hours preparing our daily healthy meals. We love to keep things simple, and of course we favor Big Sky Bison’s 100% pasture raised rich and lightly sweet bison meat. This quick and easy but delicious recipe can be served any way you like, however we prefer serving the pan seared tenderloin with baked root vegetables, topped with herb butter and paired with a nice a red wine.  With this herd butter and black truffle infused bison fillet we like to pair with a Decoy 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon.

Preparation takes 10 minutes and cooking takes around 45 minutes total.  Serves 2 hungry ranch hands.

Raw beef cut with coarse sea salt and black pepper on a dark surface, showcasing the marbled texture and freshness of the meat.
Grilled steak topped with herb butter, served with roasted sweet potato wedges and a baked onion on a decorative plate.
